Greetings, and be Well Come to The World of Myth rebirth issue. Within the pages this month we hope to bring you a magazine you are familiar with, as well as some new areas to pique your interest.
Due to continued health problems, as well as a recent computer crash, this issue is somewhat late. Under the circumstances, we hope you will please bear with us.
Our question of the Month this issue is: “Should we be Concerned about 2012?” Before you answer the question, however, I ask that you read our Commentary in this issue, which is also titled, “Should we be Concerned about 2012?” The commentary will hopefully answer some questions you may have regarding the upcoming (possible) apocalypse of December 21st, 2012.
New to The World of Myth this issue is Jen Ricci, who sends her first story to us from across the pond in the United Kingdom. Also new in this issue is Theresa C. Newbill, whose poems have appeared previously in numerous magazines, and she has also collected a number of awards with her writing. Welcome artist Robert Elrod to the Art Gallery, and new artist Mauricio Roldan to the pages of The World of Myth, whose art graces the cover of this issue. New this issue as well is the Music section, and to open this section we bid a Well Come to Kurtz of Frausun with his music blog.
Returning contributors this issue include Rebecca Lofgren, Mark A. Mihalko, David K. Montoya, Kevin Magnus and yours truly, Terry D. Scheerer.
Also new to The World of Myth, we have incorporated our former sister magazine, the Realm of Horrotica into TWOM. While not as graphic in word or deed as the former Horrotica magazine, we do ask that readers be at least eighteen years of age to enter the Realm of Horrotica, as some stories, art work or articles may be offensive to younger readers.
We hope the new World of Myth is both entertaining and thought provoking. If you have questions, suggestions or comments, please leave a note for us or one of our contributors in the Forum.
Please take your time to explore this issue of The World of Myth—and don’t forget to tell your friends that we are BACK!
